The purpose of this website is to raise issues with Henwood Green Road,Pembury (GOOGLE MAP LINK).
Currently the primary suggestion is traffic circulation and pedestrian safety at the North end, along with a potential solution.
The proposals will benefit the following people:
Car and small vehicle drivers.
HOW?: Reduce delays in travelling, remove the peak time queues.
Pedestrians including parents and children travelling to schools.
HOW?: Reduce the possibility of injury of a fatality
Residents North of Romford Road, in Henwood Green Road, and Romford Road itself (West of Henwood Green Road, towards Lower Green Road)
HOW?: Manage on-street parking without sacrificing convenience

This looks a good idea. However,I have seen too many good ideas in the past not work out in practice. Could we have a trial period of say six weeks before fully implementing it?
Hi ThermalFlyer,
Thanks for your support, yes it is a good idea in theory,I do think that anything is better than the current situation. I’m sure a trial period would be standard procedure if considered by Highways and TWBC. If I can put your support on the list,I would be grateful. Many thanks,Chris Aylward
